Using two outstanding pieces of art as inspiration; Rochelle Goldberg’s work at New York’s Whitney Museum and Damien Hirst’s presentation at the Venice Art Biennale David formulated the collection Magnified Mosses. Each piece of art displayed the transience of mosses and fungi and David used the beauty of this velveteen part of nature to inspire a collection made from the richest of materials. Working closely with an esteemed French fabric house to develop jacquards and flock printed fabrics the collection of sculptural, almost breathable designs were born.
